The PZ60S is Husqvarna’s slope-specific commercial zero-turn — the wide-stance, low-centre-of-gravity chassis built around a 22-degree slope rating that exceeds standard commercial zero-turns by 7 degrees. It earns its place where the work crosses gradients that would push a Z725KH or Z720E out of safe operating envelope but doesn’t yet justify a tracked walk-behind or remote-control machine.
The Approved Used position lands the same machine, the same engineering, at roughly half the new spend.

Where the Approved Used PZ60S earns its keep
The typical buyer: a 4-12 machine landscape contractor with a portfolio that includes county-council framework slope-mowing alongside standard amenity work. The PZ60S handles the slope contract that would otherwise need a tracked walk-behind, which keeps the contract feasible inside the bid price. New PZ60S spend would push the maths the wrong way; Approved Used at half the capex makes it work.
The quieter observation: PZ60S used inventory tends to come from operators who upgraded to remote-control slope kit (AS 1000 Ovis RC, AS 940 Sherpa) once their slope contracts pushed past 25-30 degrees consistently. Those machines have been operated carefully — slope work at high gradients punishes careless operation in ways the operator notices immediately — and tend to come into our workshop in unusually good condition for the hours on the clock.
