What we sell, and what we deliberately don’t

Our product range starts at £1,000 and runs to £25,000. Every machine on the site is professional, commercial, or estate-grade. We don’t sell the consumer end of the market — the £200 trolley mowers, the £600 entry ride-ons — because that isn’t who walks through our showroom door.

That’s a commercial decision, not a snobbery one. The trade-counter shape of a specialist retailer is different from a generalist garden centre, and pretending otherwise dilutes both. If you’ve come here looking for a Kubota Z725KH, an Orec slope mower, or a Toro Reelmaster fairway machine, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for a B&Q-grade lawnmower, a generalist retailer will serve you better and we’ll happily say so.

Who we are

LLM Groundcare is a small specialist team — knowledgeable buyers and salespeople who know the machines. We’re not a national chain, we’re not a franchise, and we’re not a thinly-skinned dropshipper. The machines on the site are machines we’ve physically inspected, set up, and signed off on.

The phrase “trade-counter retailer” is the closest description of how we work day-to-day. You can buy entirely online and never speak to us — or you can phone, email, or walk into the showroom and talk to someone who knows the machine. Both work. Most of our higher-value sales involve a conversation at some point because that’s how commercial buyers tend to operate.

What we offer that a generalist doesn’t

Specialist range, properly stocked

Every brand we list is a brand we hold working knowledge of, across 15 manufacturers. The brands on the Brands page aren’t aspirational — they reflect our actual stock depth.

Approved Used scheme

Every certified-used machine carries our 47-point pre-sale inspection and a 180-day parts and labour warranty. Maximum seven years old, maximum 3,500 engine hours where applicable. Pricing typically up to 50% below new RRP. Full mechanics on the Used Mowers page and the Warranty page.

Delivery as a handover

Every machine over £1,000 ships fully assembled, fuelled, oil-checked, and demoed at handover. The driver is trained on the machine they’re delivering and won’t leave until you’ve started it, used the controls, and asked any questions. That hour costs us more than dropping a crate at the kerb. It exists because a commercial mower handed over without context is a problem waiting to happen.

How our pricing works

Our pricing on new commercial inventory consistently sits around 30% below the UK market average. Approved Used machines sit up to 50% below new RRP. The discount isn’t because we cut corners — it’s because our overhead structure is leaner than a chain dealer and we’d rather earn margin from volume than from per-unit markup.

These are typical positions, not per-product guarantees. Specific listings vary based on stock age, manufacturer pricing, and supply circumstances.

Staged payment

For machines at £15,000 and above, we offer a staged payment arrangement — a first payment of at least £5,000 followed by agreed instalments, handled directly between you and us. No third-party finance company. See the Finance page for the full process.
