Pick the description that fits your operation and we’ll show you the machines that suit it. No quizzes, no fluff. Each page below covers one buyer profile, the kit we typically recommend, and the honest tradeoffs that come with it.
Find your application
The seven application guides:
- Estate Managers — five to fifty acres, mixed terrain, reliability over horsepower
- Sports Turf & Greens — cricket, bowls, golf. Cylinder cuts and fairway-grade machines
- Smallholding & Equestrian — one to ten acres, paddock topping plus lawn finishing
- Slope & Banks — up to 50° slopes, tracked and 4WD and remote-control options
- Council & Public Sector — parks, verges, grounds-maintenance fleet specs
- Golf Courses — greens, tees, fairways, and rough — graded by purpose
- Agricultural — topping and finishing for small-to-mid farms and contractors
Why we structure the catalogue this way
Most mower retailers organise around the machine — ride-on, zero-turn, walk-behind, robotic. That works if you already know what you need. It doesn’t if you’re starting from “I have eight acres and three of them are slope”.
Our seven application pages start from the brief instead. Each one names a buyer profile, lists the constraints that profile typically has, and recommends the categories of machine that fit. From there you click through to the specific products with full voice copy, spec, and pricing.
This is the same conversation we’d have if you walked into the showroom — except in writing, with the recommendations linked, and you can come back to it without booking a visit.
When the application page isn’t enough
Sometimes the right machine sits across two applications, or the brief is unusual enough that none of the seven quite fit (multi-site contractors with mixed estate + council work; rural educational sites with large playing fields plus paddock; small holiday parks with a thousand metres of slope verge). In those cases:
- Find Your Mower — five-question wizard that takes a more granular shortlist than the application pages do
- Email
[email protected]with the brief — we’ll come back with a shortlist and the reasons behind each choice within one working day - Showroom visit at 146 Vernon Road, Leicester — by appointment, with the shortlist set up and ready to demo
What you won’t see on these pages
- Lifestyle photography of operators looking pleased on lawns. We use product imagery and spec, not stock-photo gardening
- “Perfect for” language. Nothing is perfect for anything; everything has a tradeoff and we’d rather name it
- Invented testimonials. If a quote appears on the site, the person said it. (Most don’t appear yet — operator pipeline is small enough that we know the customers who’d give one and we haven’t asked.)
- Pressure to buy today. The application guides are written to help you decide — including deciding it’s not us, if it isn’t.
How pricing works across applications
Across every application, our pricing on new commercial inventory typically sits around 30% below the UK market average, and Approved Used machines sit up to 50% below new RRP with our 47-point inspection plus 180-day warranty. Specific machines vary; the ranges are the typical positions, not per-product guarantees.
